    The Executive Chef is responsible for providing leadership in the administration and the management of a consistently high quality food service program. 

    You will be responsible for planning and executing the delivery of food services throughout the campus. Your focus will be on leading your team to deliver quality food production, appropriate menu design and food and labour cost management.

    • lead, motivate and supervise a team of engaged employees
    • ensure that all food service standards and quality requirements are met or exceeded
    • Oversee menu planning, ordering and inventory controls
    • Supervise all aspects of catering management
    • At times, be hands on with food preparation and serving when needed.
    • Participate in weekly financial reporting
    • Ensure Health & Safety regulations are followed
    • Ensure operation’s level of profitability and client satisfaction
    • Deliver on all corporate marketing & promotional plans.
    • Ongoing training and development of employees


    • Three+ years of management experience in a fast paced food service operation
    • Red Seal or Chef's papers required
    • Clean background check required
    • strong communication & supervisory skills
    • good knowledge of Corporate marketing & promotional programs
    • good computer knowledge (MS WORD and Excel)
    • experience in menu costing, menu planning and food preparation
    • ServSafe training an asset
    • Health & Safety Certification an asset
    • demonstrates strong financial/analytical abilities
