    The Food Service Manager, reports into the Food Service Director will be accountable for delivering innovative food offerings and quality products while meeting health and safety standards and building strong client relations.

    The functions of the FSM covers a wide variety of responsibilities in the daily operations and may be modified from time to time as per the needs of the business. It is important to note that not all functions and duties are contained within this definition, and the position itself should be ever changing and adaptive. Nevertheless, some of the key roles and responsibilities allocated to this position include, but are not limited to the following:


    • Supervision of all FOH staff - ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency
    • Provide direction, leadership, motivation, coaching and counselling to all staff and Team Leads
    • Assist in training all new staff, evaluating employee progress, and participating in disciplinary action as needed
    • Support training and execution of invoicing, payroll, HR, Slack, Rate My Plate and any other communication mediums
    • Knowledge and application of set up and take down procedures, cleaning, operation, and maintenance of all culinary and related equipment
    • Maintain and execute effective catering operations in conjunction Operations team
    • Knowledge of provincial health requirements and standards, WHMIS, and OHS systems
    • Report on, develop and execute specific regional initiatives as directed by Senior Leadership.




    • 2- 4 years of food service experience in a high volume, business envioronment setting 
    • Demonstrated experience in successful business growth
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team
    • Ability to plan, organize and direct the work of others
    • Excitement for the work you are doing
    • Demonstrated ability to multi task and be organized
