    Aramark’s Marketing Healthcare Menu Development team is looking for a Project Manager to join their team. The position is designed to be part of the project team that is working on a Global Healthcare initiative IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardization Initiative), thus the successful candidate is someone who has project management experience.

    IDDSI is a global initiative that will be adopted by all healthcare institutions over the next five years.  Aramark healthcare operators are expecting tested recipes, implementation guidelines and operational resources in order to transition to the new system.

    Reporting to the Director of Healthcare Menu Development, this position is a 12 months contract with a possibility of extension depending on business needs as well individual performance.


    Specific Responsibilities:

    The successful candidate would be working in collaboration with the Healthcare menu development and culinary team to do the following:

    • Become the subject matter expert for IDDSI for Aramark Canada.
    • Be familiar with resources available for IDDSI.org
    • Categorize all healthcare recipes and develop a detailed testing schedule
    • Create process map for future product testing.
    • Create standardized testing for various meal service delivery models.
    • Organize product procurement for food testing.
    • Assist in testing all recipes with Culinary Development Chef. Consider new innovations during testing.
    • Document detailed audit results and communicate results to team members.
    • Ensure accurate updating of recipes in Aramark Canada’s menu system
    • Develop and train Aramark’s operators on the IDDSI implementation tools.
    • Monitor and administer project budget.



    • University Degree in Nutrition / related field with successfully demonstrated project management experience including budgeting expertise.
    • Nutrition knowledge in a healthcare setting would be considered an asset.
    • Excellent organization, presentation and communication skills.
    • Results oriented and goal driven, with flexibility to work in a team environment or independently.
    • Knowledgeable and competent with computer technology (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power-point), databases and preferred experience in recipe and nutrition analysis software.
    • Valid driver’s license and automobile for frequent travel between account sites.
