    Aramark Sports and Entertainment:

     

    The Sports and Entertainment division within Aramark Corporation serves more than 200 premier stadiums, arenas, convention centers and concert venues.  Since 1975 we've created culinary memories throughout the United States.  The secret to our success is that we start with great food and a well-managed facility.  We understand that ensuring a memorable experience for our customers goes far beyond the food we serve. 

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Will engage with Clients, internal and external, to develop menus, coordinate and execute events.
    • Manage direct and in-direct relationships with sub-contractors (SHS), TBJ Premium Sales team, TBJ Ticketing team. TBJ Marketing team, as well as, any other Clients of the TBJ and Rogers.
    • Data entry of event and non-event menu orders into specified systems.
    • Review food orders with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef’s.
    • Will work with other PSM to coordinate food deliveries, and staff deployment on event and non-event dates.
    • Under the direction of the department Director, will assist in all Areas related to the Premium Services Department.
    • Responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and discipline of Premium Services staff as set out by company guidelines as well as the union collective agreement.
    • Collaborate with other PSM to coordinate and implement specific department training including proper measurements, monitoring and mentoring all of Premium Services staff.
    • Responsible for day to day inventory controls, par-stocks, security of product and monthly reporting via WinArc.
    • Understand and enforce WECARE & WEST programs and ARAMARK health and safety policies/practices.
    • Execute & maintain a premium level of service standards as outlined by the Director of Premium Services to all premium guests and clients.
    • Enforce all rules and standards of Aramark Sports and Entertainment.
    • To ensure compliance of the alcohol policy (Aramark and Stadium policies).
    • Manage financial objectives and controls such as, but not limited to; COS, labour and inventory.
    • Develop, implement and maintain Premium Service standards – including, but not limited to; room set up, food layout, beverage service layout, food labeling, menu offerings, event coordination.
    • Participate in department and overall operation projects.

    Qualifications

    • Candidate must be willing to work event based hours - including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
    • Post-secondary education in relevant field is a definite asset.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in related field, hotel room service or  catering/restaurant management in a supervisory or leadership role.
    • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
    • Ability to multi task and time management skills.
    • Ability to anticipate potential challenges and resolve customer issues quickly and within company perimeters.
    • Team player – ability to mentor and motivate a large team with diverse backgrounds and levels.
    • Ability to train, monitor, mentor and discipline hourly unionized staff
    • Smart Serve and WHIMS certification.
    • Safe Food Handling certification.
    • SMART Serve Trained
    • Strong computer skills with a high degree of knowledge in word, excel, outlook mandatory
    • Knowledge of WinArc and ARAMARK suite Wizard & Catermate programs considered a strong asset.
    • Display leadership skills; conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
    • Customer focused with emphasis of delivery of expectations.
    • Knowledge of food and beverage with a strong focus on current market trends.
