    The Executive Chef will be responsible for providing leadership in the administration and the management of a consistently high quality food service program at Mount Allison University in Sackville, NB. 

    You will be responsible fore planning and executing the delivery of food services throughout the location. Your focus will be on quality food production, menu design and food and labour cost management.

    • lead and supervise a team of employees.
    • ensure that all food service standards and quality requirements are met.
    • menu planning, ordering and inventory.
    • all aspects of catering management.
    • hands on food preparation and serving when needed.
    • weekly financial reporting.
    • ensure Health & Safety regulations are followed.
    • ensure operation’s level of profitability and client satisfaction.
    • corporate marketing & promotions planning.
    • training and development of employees.
    • Assist with client engagement and take on a leadership role in building & strengthening the client relationship.


    • 5 + years management experience with a Red Seal or 10+ years management experiece.
    • criminal background check required.
    • strong communication & supervisory skills.
    • good knowledge of company policies & procedures.
    • good knowledge of Corporate marketing & promotional programs.
    • good computer knowledge (MS WORD and Excel).
    • experience in menu costing, menu planning and food preparation.
    • ServSafe training an asset.
    • Health & Safety Certification an asset.
    • demonstrates strong financial/analytical abilities.
