    The Supply Chain Manager role is to manage the development & execution of Global and Canadian contracts focusing on Aramark supplier partners based in the province of Quebec. The role will focus on maximizing vendor performance in meeting stakeholder needs and will be responsible for coordinating Canadian SCM efforts between the vendors and Aramark business operations teams ensuring seamless execution. The manager will be responsible for working closely with internal stakeholders, through planning, implementing and marketing efforts, which will foster growth, increase client satisfaction and drive Aramark’s mission of enriching and nourishing lives.


    The candidate will be involved with all aspects of operational support including coordination of efforts between all internal stakeholders, distribution partners, manufacturers and other functional support teams.  Experience dealing with or working for a major broad-line Foodservice Distributor and/or familiarity with manufacturers based in Quebec and the ability to comfortably function in both English and French will be a definite asset.   



    • Successfully manage Manufacturer and Distributor relationships that are specific to the province of Quebec (position based in Toronto).
    • Identify and develop local productivity initiatives, regional targets and cost efficiencies.
    • Maximize regional compliance by directing purchases through authorized distribution channels and with preferred manufacturer partners.
    • Work collaboratively with the National Procurement team, the local Business Units (Aramark/CPS/Gespra) to ensure alignment on national/global category strategies.
    • Assists with new product launches, pilots and promotions that are specific to the province of Quebec.
    • Perform Distributor & Supplier assessments to identify current and future capabilities and needs within the supply base.
    • Continuous understanding and maintenance of industry intelligence, trends and costs relative to Quebec.
    • Negotiate, finalize and draft local vendor contracts and monitor key vendor/category performance indicators
    • Complete monthly compliance set-up and bid report analysis for Quebec distributors.
    • Align local Distribution requirements, ultimately driving user satisfaction and volume growth.
    • Work collaboratively and productively with broader Aramark SCM including National Procurement Managers, Distribution Manager and Finance department.
    • Support Business Units in resolving Distributor and Manufacturer issues - e.g. quality issues, product listings, exceptional charges.
    • Support Business Units with implementation of customized solutions requiring Distributor/Supplier coordination.
    • Some travel required (2-3 times per year).


    • College or University graduate.
    • Prior work experience in a food services environment, preferably with a Broadline Distributor, Foodservice Manufacturer or broker.
    • Strong personal computer skills with emphasis on intermediate level Excel.
    • Effective analytical abilities (experience working with files that contain sizable amounts of data).
    • Bilingual (French & English) - preferred.
    • Detail oriented with ability to effectively manage priorities.
    • Knowledge of  food service industry products and brands would be an asset.
    • Confident self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
