    Aramark Canada has an opening for a Health & Wellness Manager within the Marketing & Culinary Development Team. This role reports to the VP of Marketing Development and Culinary and is based at our Head office located at 811 Islington Avenue. 

    • Supports the development and implementation of Aramark health & wellness programs including Healthy for Life™ and Get the Good Stuff™ within all lines of business in Canada
    • Supports the on-going implementation of all nutrition related regulations, including the Ontario Making Healthier Choices Act (menu labelling), Ontario’s Long Term Care Homes Act (nutrient requirements for long term care / senior living), CFIA nutrient, ingredient and allergen labelling regulations (particularly as they relate to packaged food labelling, nutrient content and health claims), British Columbia’s Public Health Act (trans fat limitations) and all other applicable Canadian regulations
    • Validates/sign-off of nutrient analysis for standardized recipes tested at the Aramark Culinary Innovation Centre via Mitrition and Prima software programs
    • Contacts food suppliers and manufacturers to obtain nutritional information on food products as required
    • Assists on-site health & wellness and culinary teams with nutrition related questions and menu planning using Aramark menu templates, Prima software, and other on-site specific resources
    • Acts as a nutrition resource for operators, clients and customers
    • Plans and executes client presentations for sales proposals, quarterly business reviews and other client demands as required
    • Supports development of corporate marketing and communications material related to health & wellness
    • Acts as the corporate sponsor for the Aramark Comprehensive Dietetic Internship Program and acts as a mentor for dietetic interns
    • Liaises with Aramark Supply Chain to review nutrient, ingredient and allergen information for products as required
    • Compiles, analyzes and reports on health & wellness trend and insight data, designs and conducts customer surveys as required
    • Co-ordinates and participates in health & wellness events



    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science (BSc, BASc) or Registered Dietitian (RD)
    • Member of the Dietitians of Canada (including Academic Affiliates)
    • Minimum 2 years experience in food service administration and menu planning
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills
    • Independent, flexible and organized
    • Ability to work as part of a multi-functioning team
    • Knowledgeable and competent with computer technology (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power-point)
    • Valid driver’s licence and automobile for frequent travel between account sites
