    Reporting to the Director of Distribution & Commercialization, the Manager Supply Chain Implementation role is responsible for program implementation and roll-out support for the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) business.  This includes assisting with GPO events/shows, vendor integration activities and compliance opportunities (coordination of client savings opportunities and itiatives, compliance strategy initiatives).  The position also actively maintains Distributor alignment on GPO business needs.


    The Manager is responsible for maintaining a solid understanding of the Group Purchasing Organization landscape.  It is essential to the role that the position instill strong inter-departmental communication and coordination to maximize the implementation of business development activities.  The ultimate goal of the Manager is to assist in optimizing the value to GPO members and to ensure successful implemenation of intiatives that maximize enterprise value.



    This position is based at 365 Evans Avenue, Toronto, Ontario.



    • Lead with new product launches, pilots and promotions in GPO operations
    • Collaborates with GPO business for customer roll-outs and communications
    • Diligently work at directing purchases through authorized distribution channels and manufacturers
    • Strategize with Director of Distribution on optimal Distribution programs for GPO business units
    • Coordinate and liaison with Account Managers and marketing to meet GPO client needs and expectations
    • Maximizes overall compliance through the use of targeted vendor and/or product initiatives and sku rationalizations
    • Support GPO marketing on trade shows and vendor presentations
    • Assist and guide implementation of new processes that impact the GPO business
    • Continuous understanding and maintenance of GPO industry intelligence and trends
    • Aid in the achievement of SCM and GPO productivity initiatives
    • Work collaboratively across the Supply Management Chain organization in support of the development and implementation of the globalization strategies, supplier rationalizations and product innovations
    • Must be willing to travel occasionally




    • Minimum of 4-5 years of continuous supply chain management experience with exposure to the maintenance or management of Supplier or Distributor Agreements for a large scale organization
    • A college degree in a related field or Bachelor’s degree.   

    • Strong strategic planning and coordination skills
    • Experience with a large Foodservice or Foodservice related firm, Group Purchasing Organization or Healthcare related company preferred
    • The ability to apply an effective decision-making process, including both financial and non-financial criteria
    • A proven record of continued and sustainable success and increased responsibility
