We are currently hiring for a Director of Facility Maintenance who will be responsible for leading teams in the areas of Plant Operations & Maintenance (POM) for a Hospital in GTA. The goal of this opportunity is to ensure a safe, well-maintained facility with a high level of customer satisfaction within the resources allocated.
Please note: We are also hiring for Facilities / POM Supervisors who will report into the Director Facility Maintenance. Depending on the experience the profile would be qualified for either the Director / Supervisor roles.
Post-secondary education in an applicable field and/or be a Red Seal certified technician, plus relevant management training and experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Education: Certified Engineering Technologist or Red Seal Master Electrician or Facility Maintenance Manager designation from a recognized post secondary institution or Bachelor of Science with Applied Engineering or Certified Canadian Healthcare Facility Manager
Working knowledge of multi-discipline fields of maintenance, plant engineering and manufacturing.
Well versed in all maintenance processes and environmental, health and safety regulations.
Experience in self-directed work teams or autonomous maintenance
Aptitude and experience in data collection, analysis, reporting, budgeting along with project and business plan development and management.
Computer Assisted Design (AutoCAD)
Energy Management Professional
Infection Control during Construction and Renovation in Healthcare
