    K12 District Supervisor

    The successful candidate would oversee Nutrition in all K-12 sites,  through menu planning and implementation of planograms compliant with PPM150.  They would also continually be researching and looking for new products that meet with PPM 150.

    The District Supervisor role is a high profile and a key role for leadership in our food service operations within our K-12 line of business. This professional will work closely with the District Manager to ensure the contract is executed and the client is satisfied with the quality of service.





    • Ensures operations are in full compliance with National School Lunch/Breakfast Programs, Afterschool Care as well as state and local regulations.    
    • Work with School Boards Nutrition Policies and be a liaison with their District Manager on communicating Business Reviews with Clients.

    Food and Employee Safety

    • Establishes and enforces standards of cleanliness, and health and safety following health and safety codes and regulations as deemed by the health department and ARAMARK standards for sanitation. 

    Human Resources / Labor Cost / Labor Management

    • Ensures labor management systems are in place to maintain fiscal responsibility based on meal performance. 

    Food Management / Production / Food Cost

    • Ensures units are in compliance with ARAMARK standards for Food Production and Waste Management, i.e. forecasting, ordering, portioning, and proper utilization of leftovers. 
    • Ensures systems are established regarding inventory management and accountability. 


    • Assists in unit accounting and weekly financial reporting. 
    • Monitors weekly information and develops action plans to work toward departmental goals.

    Meal Participation/Marketing

    • Assists in development of business strategy and accountability based on meal performance.    
    • Ensures all cafeteria's are in compliance with Aramark marketing standards and cafeterias maintain high standards of quality food and service

    Client / Community Relationship

    • Establishes plans and maintains effective client and customer satisfaction. 
    • Work with other area Supervisors on holding event days during schools lunch times.



    • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Dietetics, Hospitality, Foods and Nutrition or other related fields is preferred
    • Some management experience is a preferred
    • Must be able to build relationships and communicate with principals, teachers and parents
    • Business acumen and analytical abilities are required for success in this role 
    • Must have the ability to  manage and motivate a large staff in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to identify defects in the preparation and service of food and implement improved quality control procedures
    • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, client's customers, and support staff. Ability to respond effectively to changing demands
    • Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
    • P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable
    • Have a valid driver's liecense and have access to a car as travel between units is a key requirement to this position
