    Position Summary:

    The Bilingual Menu & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the Complete Purchasing Service’s Menu Software database system (Computrition).


    The Menu & Compliance Coordinator also participates in menu development, product sourcing, and recipe management as well as training/educating clients on the menu program offered by CPS/GESPRA.


    Scope of Responsibility:


    Menu Development

    • Works with CPS & GESPRA Corporate RD in the development of the COMPLETE and GESPRA menu program (long term care, retirement & camp)
    • Creates and updates various components of the menu program

    Database Maintenance


    • Maintains the Corporate database (Computrition) for CPS and GESPRA Menu programs, including but not limited to:
      • product and nutrient links
      • product codes and product pricing for specific distribution centres
      • recipes
      • menus
    • Maintains the eCPS-eGESPRA website for the COMPLETE-GESPRA menu/recipe program, including but not limited to:
      • Recipe import
      • Menu import
      • Data validation
    • Works directly with manufacturers and supply chain to obtain product nutrient information
    • Coordinates seasonal menu merges and updates

    Client & Sales Support

    • Provide first line support & training to CPS/GESPRA clients using eCPS-eGESPRA and the COMPLETE menu program
    • Participates in CPS education events in promoting the COMPLETE menu program and solutions
    • Provides corporate support to CPS-GESPRA Account Managers


    • Assists in reporting and system evaluation and data collection
    • Participates in product and recipe testing



    • A minimum education credentials of any one of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition
    • Diploma program in food & nutrition management
    • Diploma program in culinary management
    • A minimum of 2 years foodservice operations experience in long term care or retirement
    • Knowledge in nutrition, diet therapy and MS office applications, specifically Word and Excel – minimum level 2
    • Bilingual – French and English
    • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (both languages)
    • Must be highly detailed oriented
    • Must be proficient in data entry and data analysis
    • Must enjoy database maintenance
    • Must possess strong organizational and time management skills
    • Must be flexible and adaptable to changes in schedule, work assignments and environment.
    • Previous experience/working knowledge of the Computrition menu & production application is an asset
