    Job Scope

    The Office Manager is responsible for the supervision of general office functions, as well as light Human Resource administration. Primarily supervises day-to-day data collection and supervises or completes basic accounting reports. Assist unit management in completion of standard monthly management report and prepare various financial reports for senior management.




    • Prepare or co-ordinate financial statements, summaries and other cost-benefit analyses and financial management reports
    • Co-ordinate the financial planning and budgeting process
    • Evaluate financial reporting systems/procedures and make recommendations for changes
    • Recruit, organize, train and manage accounting/office staff
    • Develop and motivate staff
    • Act as a liaison between this component and other components under the campus umbrella
    • Notify and report to senior management any concerning trends
    • Responsible for dealing with any issues related to E4W, Cash Reconciliation and Vendor queries regarding Accounts Payable.
    • Managing Accounts Receivable and all that entails
    • Problem solving and staying informed of updates to Aramark financial policies and procedures
    • Responsible for payroll administration/functions for salaried employees
    • Manages and tracks accounts payables and receivables
    • May perform other duties as required by management


    • Post secondary education in Management, Business Administration or Accounting fields OR Bachelor's level degree in Management or related field required.
    • 2+ years experience as an Office Manager or a position with primary emphasis on, payroll & accounting/finance
    • Requires effective oral and written communication skills, sound interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management
    • Excellent computer skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, strong analytical skills
