    Aramark is currently looking for a an Executive Chef who will be will be responsible for providing leadership in the administration and the management of a consistently high quality food service at private school in uptown Toronto. You will be responsible for planning and executing the delivery of food services throughout the location. Your focus will be on quality food production, menu design and food and labour cost management.


    This is a Monday to Friday operation with mostly daytime hours.

    • Lead and supervise a team of employees
    • Ensure that all food service standards and quality requirements are met
    • Menu planning, ordering and inventory
    • All aspects of catering management
    • Hands on food preparation and serving when needed
    • Weekly financial reporting
    • Ensure Health & Safety regulations are followed
    • Ensure operation’s level of profitability and client satisfaction
    • Corporate marketing & promotions planning
    • Training and development of employees


    • Three and plus years management experience in a fast paced food service operation 
    • Completion of a culinary degree
    • Red Seal or Chef paper preferred
    • Previous experience at a golf course, hotel/banquet operations or within a large catering company would be ideal
    • Strong communication & supervisory skills
    • Good knowledge of company policies & procedures
    • Good knowledge of corporate marketing & promotional programs
    • Strong technical skills within Microsoft Office
    • Experience in menu costing, menu planning and food preparation
    • ServSafe training an asset
    • Health & Safety Certification an asset
    • Demonstrates strong financial/analytical abilities
