    Overview:

    We are currently seeking a District Manager to lead a multi-site district for the Refreshment Services business. The District Manager will manage all facets of the area including profit and loss, human resources, sales and customer service with full P&L accountability.  

     

    Responsibilities:

    • This position requires a results driven individual who will use their established business and leadership experience to deliver sustainable profitable growth through their team. 
    • A proven record of execution is required to approach decisions, opportunities and challenges in a process-focused way so as to ensure efficient and effective execution of business strategies. 
    • This individual must provide strong leadership to improve the effectiveness and productivity of the team by providing clear direction and creating a positive work environment that energizes and engages the teams at all levels throughout the district. 
    • The District Manager is responsible for building multiple teams by developing future talent for Aramark and proactively taking responsibility for others' professional growth and development. 
    • The ideal candidate will possess strong Customer/Client relationships with genuine desire and ability to discover the changing needs of Aramark's environment and respond accordingly with solutions that target these needs.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

     

    Qualified candidates will have a 4-year college degree or equivalent and Direct Sales Distribution experience is a plus. The candidate must have experience managing a multimillion-dollar P&L, multi-unit/multi-site management experience and client relations. Experience managing in a route based business is preferred.  The candidate must reside within the designated area of responsibility.  

     

    • Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience
    • Five to seven years of progressive management responsibility
    • Demonstrated success in operations management in a production facility or manufacturing environment
    • Significant customer interface and service responsibilities
    • Considerable knowledge of financial information including: profit and loss, sales, and capital expenses
    • Demonstrated successful interfacing with a variety of organizational functions
    • Understanding of Oracle Financials preferred
    • Twelve to eighteen months of business to business sales
    • Strong analytical and process management skills
    • Ability to manage employee relations and communication
    • Production planning, maintenance or warehouse operations experience preferred
    • Exceeded established goals on a consistent basis
