    As the Assistant Camp Manager, you will be supporting the Camp Manager in the general operations of the assigned facility including; Guest services, commissary, culinary/kitchen, maintainance through effective management of the employees and resources provided.

    Site location is Labrador City. 

    This is a position with a scheduled rotation option: 2 weeks on site and 2 weeks off . 



    • Oversee daily operations of the assigned site
    • Effectively manage employees through effective coaching and development Ensure guests/clients at site receive superior customer service
    • Budgeting, forecasting and financial duties related to operation
    • Able to do all ordering of all supplies required
    • Monitor, train and schedule employees to ensure the best customer service 
    • Operate front desk duties with all required tasks that come with an administrators' positoin ie: Payroll, accounting
    • Submit daily, weekly and bi weekly reports to client and Aramark
    • Ensure daily communication through Toolbox meetings
    • Accountable for developing a culture focused on Safety First at the site
    • Completes all necessary facility audits related to culinary/kitchen, commissary and housekeeping 
    • Assists HR in payroll with regards to front line employees and help address concerns
    • Assist Camp Manager with effective inventory control and advise of any forecast issues


    • 3+ years Management experience preferably in remote camp or hotel/hospitality industries 3+ year of admin experience (WHMIS and Food Safe certifications as asset)
    • Demonstrated leadership skills
    • Computer skills, Excel, word
    • Clean drivers abstract
    • Capable of working in a union environment
    • Outstanding communication skills
    • Strong with prioritization and time management
    • Ability and willingness to travel/work long rotations away from home
