    We are searching for a Health and Safety Representative. The successful candidate must be able to build solid internal relationships with local Operations Team in efforts to gain support for safety programs.  Candidate must also be able to present previous relevant work experience. The rotation for this position is 2 weeks at the camp and 2 weeks off.


     The EHS Representative trains Aramark Directors, Managers and Supervisors to investigate safety incidents and events, perform root cause analyses, and devises permanent corrective action plans for Safety Incident Reports. Oversees the preparation of these reports and monitors implementation of corrective action plans.

    The EHS compiles safety budgets and tracks expenditures and variances, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to continuously improve Safety, Quality, Cost, Responsiveness, People and Environment (SQCRPE).


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Create and/or modify safety policies and programs
    • Develop goals/strategies and measurements for station
    • Analyze results and benchmark data
    • Minimize liability exposures
    • Develop necessary training programs for safety leaders and service workers
    • Initial point of contact for any safety incident
    • Participate in all Board of Inquiries for safety incidents
    • Prepare and distribute results/findings to internal and external customers
    • Conduct audits and inspections
    • Draft and distribute monthly safety bulletin
    • Determine trends and create corrective action programs
    • Become visible and actively involved in customer safety programs



    • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience as Safety Expert, specializing in Environmental Hygiene
    • Background must include experience working in the remote camps or mining, Safety Program responsibility with proven results, and a thorough knowledge of OHSA, applicable safety regulations and standards, and workers compensation
    • Strong organization, leadership, time management and team motivation skills are essential for success in this role
    • Must be comfortable with frequent computer usage and a good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications is required
    • Applicable safety certifications
