Description

The Supply Chain Data Analyst will support the Regional Distribution Manager with systems administration and reporting requirements.  The position will also assist the business with a detailed understanding of Supply Chain Management programs, implementation initiatives and inter-department communication. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support reporting requests from the business.  This includes validation, analysis, review, escalation, report generation and follow-up. 
    • Competitive pricing analysis
    • Price audits
    • Analysis of purchases including financial impact of compliance to specified programs
    • Supplier target lists
  • Manage the SharePoint libraries
  • Support Customer Incentive Program set up and updates 
  • On boarding of supplier portal candidates
  • Maintain good working relationships with multiple stakeholders, and work collaboratively with a cross-functional team.

 

 

Qualifications

 

 

  • Bilingual (French and English) both written and verbal a definite asset
  • Post secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Finance would be an asset
  • Minimum 3-5 years of direct experience in data analysis, quantitative analysis, interpretation and communication
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, specifically data evaluation, matching transformation, analysis and reporting
  • Working knowledge of Intermediate Microsoft Access
  • Experience within the food industry preferred
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional analytical abilities
  • Ability to translate statistical and analytical results into clear written and verbal communication
  • Strong ability to participate in multiple projects/initiatives of varying size and complexity, while simultaneously meeting conflicting deadlines in a diverse environment
